SETTING THE STAGE Over the course of history we can look back and see times when big changes occurred in civilized culture due to the confluence of economic, social, industrial or technological advances. Hundreds of years ago, it was the Renaissance. The big change was educational in the ability to mass produce books. Early last century we had the industrial revolution. The ability to mass produce products and get them to market. This made many luxury items like automobiles affordable to the masses. Today we are in the midst of the internet revolution. The explosion of information technology. Business has been migrating in a massive way to the internet. Now here is where it gets interesting. In the middle of the information technology explosion, you have mini-explosions occurring. Some examples would be YouTube, Myspace, FaceBook, and Twitter. There are others, but these are the most notable. But, and here's the BIG BUT! Look at the following three charts to see where Twitter is now, and the potential for huge growth. YouTube.com = blue CHARTS EXPLAINED As the charts indicate, YouTube.com and FaceBook.com have 70M+ subscribers. This is huge. By comparison, Twitter has a paltry 8M+ subscribers. Now at first glance you might be wondering, "why I would so strongly recommend the Twitter Revolution as the place to be right now"? What you need to know are the startling statistics behind those charts. Here they are: 1. YouTube.com growth rate is 16.9% per year. I believe that Twitter.com will eventually eclipse both YouTube.com and FaceBook.com in total number of subscribers. The reason I believe this will happen is simple. Twitter.com allows people, all types of people, to network with each other quickly and easily. Business owners of all types (including network marketers) are flocking to Twitter in massive numbers. Why? The ability to quickly and easily network with other like minded business owners and marketers. And to learn and grow from that ability to network with others. Now this is KEY. If you enter into meaningful conversations with others on Twitter, if you provide help and insight to others on Twitter, if you provide "value" in your communications, you will grow a huge list of "followers". Don't know what a "follower" is, it's explained in my mini E-course. THE DEMISE OF "COOKIE CUTTER" MARKETING SYSTEMS I'm willing to bet that you've purchased a cookie cutter marketing system or three from one or multiple online marketing guru's. The promises are much the same. Massive traffic, massive income potential, blah, blah, blah. Does this strike a chord with you? Are you generating a high quality targeted network marketing lead on a regular basis? Are you making good money? I'm not saying all these programs are worthless. In fact some are very good. You can generate a network marketing lead, or most any type lead with them if you know what you are doing. But, all of them leave out a crucial element that is "mandatory" for real and sustainable income in any business. That crucial element is "value". There I said it again. You must provide your prospects real value before they will want to do business with you or buy anything from you. In fact, I'll tell you that if you learn to generate a network marketing lead (or any type lead) first, but don't have any real "value" to offer them once you have them, they'll move on to someone else who can provide them "value". Cookie Cutter marketing systems don't teach you how to provide value to your prospects and customers. This is why 97% of network marketers fail. This is why the old school methods of network marketing don't work for the masses. The paradigm has shifted fully to the value based business model. And the good news is it's not hard to do. In fact it's fun and easy when you learn how it's done correctly. All of the ultra successful network marketers that I know today have made the shift to the value based business model. Those who are still battling with the old school methods are being left behind, and most are failing. If you continue down this road, you are doomed to failure. The new business model of providing value first, then generating mlm leads is the way to success. This new business model is the 800 pound gorilla in the room. It's momentum cannot be denied. It is a juggernaut that cannot be stopped. Will you make the shift in your business?
